 Did you know the Helmore's can trace their family tree back to
Robert and Mary (nee Lee) of Newton St Cyres, a parish near Exeter, Devon in
the year 1540? Much of the credit for the tracing must go to Maxwell Helmore
who made it his life's work, he is survived by his wife Joan, who lives in
Melbourne. Rob Helmore was able to use Max's work to trace our ancestry
back through his grandfather who came from Exeter to his parents who also
lived in Exeter early in the nineteenth century. Coincidentally, Rob is also
